Is it Monday already? Officially it is indeed. Mondays are made easier however by a good weekend, and I definitely had one of those. Saturday was my first real day off in 3 weeks or so and I e njoyed every minute of it. I slept in late, and when I did wake up, my friend Ashley was here to visit for the day. This was probably the longest amount of time I have gotten to spend with her since she graduated a year and a half ago. One of the highlights fr me was when she found a new necklace of mine and insisted I list it on
my etsy page and took it upon herself to model and photograph it.
There she is! Sideways and missing a bit of her head, but looking sharp in her Dorkorama original design!
We crafted, ate poutine, and watched Girls Just Want to Have Fun. Pretty much the perfect day.
I also spent a good chunk of time this weekend resin casting. The more I do this, the less confident I get. There were a good n umber of happy accidents though. These were some of my favorites:
My photography skills are atrocious, but you get the idea. And last, but certainly not least, I completed my long planned Cindy Lauper Clock! It's so rad, and now I can't wait to make more record clocks. My fella even got excited about this one, he's talking laser disk clocks, computer parts clocks...
